Only downside to this software package is the limited number of knobs to fiddle with, but this could also be seen as a strength. Remember, you get a lot of vintage, classic and modern instruments that cost a tiny fraction of the real thing, and all these instruments does not require constant maintenance and fiddling to sound at its best and in tune. Make sure to move to Analog Lab V as soon as possible to be able to keep using Analog Lab.

Overall this software package is fast to install, sounds great (!), easy to use and all this at a very good price. It is not planned for Analog Lab 4 to be updated to be M1-compatible, and it will stop working on M1 computers when the Arturia Software Center (ASC) is updated for M1-compatibility. Very easy to find sounds for different styles and genres. The easy preset-based interface is the strong point for many, and downside for many still. Easy to assign midi controll to the few knobs you have, can also be done.Įasy to set up and play with two instruments at the same time for some individual touch. Leslie on the organ was mapped to my microkey midi keyboard on startup, no problems there. On top of this, you also have effects to further alter the sound. TAE® 'True Analog Emulation' is Arturias exclusive technology that accurately reproduces the defining sonic qualities of analog synthesizers. Turn two knobs and the same sound sounds different. Analog Lab Pro distills the quirks and character of every V Collection instrument into an instant-access selection of thousands of responsive and musical presets. You still have some knobs to fiddle with. Same instruments as in Collection 9, but with an easy interface that is preset-based. This package is an intro to all you need at a fair price. Truly amazing software package with all the classic instruments and vintage synths that sound great! Well done Arturia.
